Her father Robert Kardashian, gained national fame as a member of O.J. Simpson's murder trial in 1995, her mother Kris worked as his manager. After the divorce in 1989, Kris was engaged to Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner (later Caitlyn Jenner) and had twin daughters Kendall and Kylie. Kim was a high-school graduate in 1998, and was the assistant of socialite Paris Hilton. While she was at high school, she was married to producer Damon Thomas. The two split four years after. Kim launched DASH the store in Calabasas California with Kourtney & Khloe the following year.
