Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana on April 15,1976. Monroe Christian School served as her Christian elementary education. Ward attended Ouachita high school in the parish for secondary education. She then moved to River Oaks High School the summer following her senior year. After graduatingshe briefly was a student at Northeast Louisiana University. Ward quit school at 13 and moved in New York so that she could start modeling. Her acting career began just a couple of years later further down the line. She first appeared on screen in 1970. an uncredited part in the soap-opera All My Children and was later scheduled to play in the sluggish NBC prime-time teen-drama Malibu Shores. Late in 1996, she was in the role in the role of Meg Cummings on Sunset Beach. She began her film career and starred on The In Crowd as psychotic Brittany Foster.
