Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15 1960) is an American actress. Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actress. Bassett was brought up by her aunt in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was born and grew up within New York New York. As Bassett was about five the family relocated from the city of St. Petersburg, Florida where they lived with their mother who had separated from their father. Bassett watched the James Earl Jones in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men play as she was still at high school and decided that acting is what she was looking to pursue. Yale University New Haven Connecticut granted her a bachelor's degree (1980), in African American study, and an advanced degree (1983) at the Yale School of Drama. She met Courtney B. Vance, a fellow actress at Yale and they were married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. degree in African-American studies in 1980. Master in Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grades) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett is currently working as one of the main parts as Ramonda in the action adventure movie i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda forever (2022).
