Angela Evelyn Bassett has been an American actress since the end of the 1980s. Since the mid 80s she has been working in television and film. The actress has won many awards, including 16 NAACP Image Awards. Bassett grew up in Winston-Salem North Carolina, raised by her aunt who lived in New York New York. Bassett as well as her younger sister at the age of five old, made the move out of New York and into St. Petersburg to live with their mother, who was the divorced father. Bassett saw James Earl Jones in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men play as she was still at high school and decided that she was an actor and would like to be doing. Yale University New Haven Connecticut, where she received her bachelor's degree in African American and master's degrees (1983). Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale and, in 1997 they tied the knot. Qualification: B.A. the Yale School of Drama granted an M.A. in Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett in 1980. The school she attended was the institutions that she attended: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for seventh graders, Azalea Middle School for 8th and 9th grades and Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett plays Ramonda as one of the major roles in action adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
