Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. Professionally known as Aurora and occasionally stylized using lowercase letters, such as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by Decca Records Decca Records in May 2015 getting great reviews from bloggers as well as the press. The singer has released a number of high-profile songs as covers, like Half the World Away (by Oasis), from the group Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert as well as Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole), which have been widely praised. Her mother suggested that she be able to perform her music publicly in order in order to make people aware of their own importance and how they could impact the world. She didn't tell her family about her musical journey until she was 14. Aurora had no idea of being a famous singer. The singer claims she is a fan of composing songs.
